Digital Inclusion for Long Beach Residents
Welcome Long Beach community! The City of Long Beach supports digital equity for all.
This means ensuring that everyone has access and use of computer literacy training, the Internet and computers to be successful in society, democracy and the economy regardless of their background and identity.
The City in collaboration with the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF), EveryoneOn and human-I-T, is assisting the Long Beach community find low-cost options for Internet services, computers, hotspots and computer literacy training. The ConnectedLB Platform content is managed by EveryoneOn.

In the Digital Inclusion Resource Guide, Long Beach residents can learn about opportunities for digital literacy provided at the Long Beach Public Library such as watching movies, reading a newspaper or magazine, taking classes, learning a language, listening to books, and connecting to educational and professional development resources. Additionally, residents can borrow Chromebook computers and Mi-Fi mobile hotspots for up to 3 weeks.
For more than 15 years, the Heart of Ida has helped low-income seniors in Long Beach stay connected, healthy, happy and loved. Their programs include a range of services including one-on-one technical support for older adults who need assistance with using technology devices.
